ON BEING AN AUTHOR:
The route to Authorship is long and tedious. Many years spent in reading and writing classes, then many years of creative writing classes. Finally, your skills are developed. You have become a wordsmith. You now can become an author: congratulations.
I have developed none of these skills. I am akin to Folk Art; I call myself “Folk Writer.” As a writer, I am completely untrained. Any accomplished writer would not enjoy trying to read my stuff. Too bad for them, I say.
If you write about what is interesting and/or informative I’m sure most readers will overlook the errors to enjoy the substance of the story.
So, on that note, read on – enjoy.
